And we have a "Monty" python.  :P

Need we say more?

That was page=1267

page=1267  France and Coneheads. In the SNL skit, the Coneheads often claimed they were from France. The comedy was that this was usually sufficient to explain their odd customs.

One of the options on the Anysuit menu is "Scruff" - that's right, you can be Scruffy-looking if you want, Han!

One of the things I'm bitter about is that now we're in the 21st Century, the flying-car/briefcase thing is nowhere on the horizon.

page=1337 DataWars is an obvious homage to InfoWars(dot)com, but I don't know enough about the current state of the conspiracy to speculate homage any further.

I just stuck "Alex Jones" into a search engine and asked for images and, well it's not an exact match but Max kinda looks like the Alex Jones I knew about, and Drusilla looks sorta like the "Alex Jones" I didn't know about, (the actress.)

Edit: not close enough that anyone could be actually sued, but it's an interesting theory.

Anybody else want to weigh in?

Since I bumped the thread, way back on page=961, panel 2 has Murphy's face is a homage to that guy reacting to the 1940 Nazi invasion of Paris, I think. http://hubpages.com/art/Touching-War-Photography

Edit2: Less subtle: http://www.stardock.com/brad/simp1.jpg

Besides Spock in the back row (already pointed out), I'm positive there are more homages in this image. I guess I just spotted Little Orphan Anne over far right, second row.

Anyone else?

Edit: Is that Moe from the Three Stogies behind Murphy?

Diana's restaurant server in panel 2 on Page 1366 seems to be an all-grown-up Astro Boy.

(..new green humanoids every week and have sex with them. [j/k])

Obvious homage to the various Star Trek title sequences.

sooo much star trek homage, I had to bump the thread.

1456, first mention of "warp drive"
1476, not the first picture, but this one clearly shows the star trek homage design features, except with 3 "jeffris tubes". The quoted size is also very close to the original (NCC-1701) given measurements
1483, The "Pbbt" deck main screen looks a whole lot like the BSG reboot's "cut corners" in-joke. (which I now find out may be "Fake News")
1484, The "Pbbt" uniforms look a whole lot like Next Generation ones.
1488, a star trek standard transporter by any other name
