So, we've established what's pretty much the minimum firepower required by law with the "pope gun", but what is the upper limit?

Bazookas?  Artillery?  Or is it pretty much "If you can afford one, you can own one."?

As a practical matter, the upper limit of what you might be required to carry would be something small enough that you can carry it. Bazooka, maybe. Artillery, no, pretty much by definition.

There would be no upper limit on what you can own, hoever.

And that's they way it should be.  If I can afford an M1A1 Abrams tank, a F-15 Eagle with cluster bombs and sidewinders or a Navy Ageis cruiser the only thing that I should have to worry about is 1) Where to store the thing. 2) pay for the upkeep and 3) keeping it out of Jr's hands.  :D

 

anything
