Sounds interesting.  Any sources or suggestions?

I can point you in a few directions, but it's very difficult. Due to the limitations at the time, it's hard to find any actually records of musicians, or much records of them ever having existed (What with the fear of prosecution). The best I can really do is offer a few links to what I'm talking about, because it takes quite a long time to find any material.
Try following this video link. It's some footage of a movie that I don't even know the name of, and if copies exist, they are all hidden away. It's a pretty good example of the Jazz-Funk genre.

While the session musicians for that movie where great, no soundtrack was ever released.
For a little background on it as a whole, check out this link.

It gives the basics of what Russain musicians where working and dealing with during this entire time, and has some pretty cool photos. (It's pretty far down though)

You might want to check your links.  They're identical.

Oh, I'm sorry about that. I went ahead and fixed that for you. I guess I wasn't paying a lot of attention when I originally posted.
