Did anyone think to check Diana herself for unauthorized modifications that could have been installed by Lorelei's medics?

Probably not.He implat was also probably monkeyed with.

The tracer is in the part of her arm that got broken.  Had to be installed by Lorelei's medics.

If I were Diana, I'd have the Mechanic's medics see if there was some "extra" in her head implants.

Well, that pretty much confirms that someone at Lorelei's estate can't be trusted. Though it still looks like Lorelei is playing her own game.

In this kind of society, it behooves the wealthier households to have a secure "guest" area for these kinds of incidents - until more information can be gathered on the individual and potential threats.

So either Lorelei authorized the tracer implant or Otto did it on his own. Either way that's a problem.

Whatever her game, Lorelei did prove useful to Diane.
