the water spigot in Nicole's and Murphy's bathroom sink is not only reflected in the mirror but also on the non-reflective surface of the wall. I know Scott likes to fix this kind of stuff before putting the cartoon in the book. (I am obviously got nothing better to do while waiting for September 10 strip to load.) I give up I am going to bed I will read it tomorrow. I am so happy for Scott has a new lady friend.
-
MY BAD! that is not the edge of the mirror it is some other edge in the wall behind Murphy. I am too sleepy to be the critic.
-
There should be only one r in Faraday.
-
Surely, it was a multi-million (http://quantumvibe.com/strip?page=927)-Xinke (Augram) deal . . .
-
Page 942, The hebrew letters in the sign are flipped, it should look visually like this: שער 23

This is a question, rather than a claim of an erratum; is "GHGB" intentional? I can't find anything that would indicate what this is -- the closest is a genealogical society in Bern.
If it is intentional, what does it stand for?

I don't know either, but a Google Search (https://www.google.com/search?num=50&newwindow=1&safe=off&hl=en&site=webhp&source=hp&q=GHGB&oq=GHGB&gs_l=hp.13..0i10l8j0l2.2658.2658.0.11563.2.2.0.0.0.0.960.1918.6-2.2.0....0...1c.2.56.hp..1.1.960.0.j-i5NwkY2NI) on GHGB turns up lots of options.

I don't know, but I read it as General Headquarters of Great Britain, a future security 'catchall' of the UK, like our current DHS. incorporating all organizations like MI5, MI6, GCHQ, etc..

It's Kuiper not Kuyper.

1001 - "Gack was that smell was bad!"
From the department of redundancy department.
-
1013 - "Seamus didn't chose this place for its looks."
-
Yes, "Choose" has two "O"s...
It would be
Frank Chose a hot dog for lunch.
Frank did not Choose to put Sauerkraut on it.

Sauerkraut is better on Bratwurst anyway (with stone-ground mustard)

When I go to the ballpark, I always put kraut on my hotdog in order to convince it that it will grow up to be a bratwurst.
I lie.

Sorry for being absent for so long, various reasons...
I'm re-reading & catching up now. During that , I noticed something that could be a typo on strip 772: "impartant" in the last panel. Then I checked the transcript and noticed that it rather contains an alternative text for the last panel, the 2nd half of it does not match the page.
(A forum search showed that RobbinR spotted the "impartant" exactly a year ago.)
-
Thanks for the reminder. I vaguely recall that I was hella busy when that goof was first pointed out and I didn't fix it right away and then forgot.
Fixed now.

Heh :) Thank you - since I can neither draw nor write, I enjoy these very rare moments where I can be a little bit helpful immensely ;D
Now nearly caught up and just spotted another one: Strip 1028, panel 3, this time verified by the transcript: Both speech bubbles should lead to Nicole.
( I'm a good bug-finder at times. Just not in my own programs... :-\ I'm halfway glad the week is over, halfway not :-[ )
-
The transcript for strip 1045 (Fri 3/6/2015) is actually the transcript for the Thursday (3/5/2015) strip. :(
-
Nicole's word is spelled "Dying", not "Dieing"
-
Shouldn't the first panel on strip 1069 read "zringer" rather than "zinger"?

Zingers also come in pistol form, called a 'zing-gun'. (http://www.quantumvibe.com/strip?page=379)

Regarding the May 5, 2015 strip, panel one... wouldn't "provenance" be a better word choice than "providence"?
-

You beat me to it; I was just about to point this out as well.

Though his arrival may prove providential.

Clearly, I couldn't let the story wrap without one last malapropism, for old time's sake, eh?
(How embarrassing)
Fixed.
-
I think Scott put tomorrow's transcript under today's (11-05-15 number 1091) comic.
-
Who's this 'Harry' character? We know and love Hari Sheldon, but I for one am unfamiliar with a Harry in this milieu.
-
Today's page, first panel. Bok has 2 balloons, Dorothy has 1. The second Bok balloon belongs to Dorothy.
-
Strip 1125, Bok says "I've been going out and exploring the city since I was 21".
Since Bok is said to be currently 17, I suspect it's meant to be "since I was 12". :)
This is both in the image and in the script below.
-
Years on this world are quite a bit shorter than Terran years. Roughly, 1 year on Bok's world equals .61 Terran years.
--Scott
-
Then his "21" is just under our "13". That works out. :)

We have been reading the name "Alyss Roaz" on the web page itself, but the last panel in the comic spells it "Aliss Roaz".
-

Oops. I also misspelled "Alyss" in the next strip. Both typos fixed. Thanks!
-
In the third panel, are all the speech balloons supposed to be Diana's or is the first supposed to be Bok's?
-
First was supposed to be Bok's. It's been fixed.
-
Third panel of 9/25/15: Bok calls Diana "Diane". Just thought you might want to know.
-
Also, first panel today, those look like two separate bubbles from different people...a question and answer.
-
Might want to double check all of the speech bubbles. more than one panel looks have something amiss.
-
Also, in this day and age, a sling crosses the body, relieving pressure on an entire arm from the shoulder down. A sling on the same arm would be more likely to slip off as well as possibly exacerbating the injury. You could pass it off as "future medicine" if you wanted to.
-
The transcript for today's strip (12/4/2015) is an old transcript which doesn't match the strip.
-
The transcript for today's strip (12/4/2015) is an old transcript which doesn't match the strip.
It's long been established that a discrepancy between the script and what ends up on the panel is not an erratum per se, but a display of the creative process in action.
-
That is true as far as differences between the two goes; BUT this wasn't a difference, it was a rerun of an old transcript. that has nothing to do with "creative process"
-
On the 02/08/16 strip, looks like all the dialog bubbles in panel 2 should belong to Zander. And "anysuit" is misspelled.
-
Strip 1283, panel one, Alyss says, "...I need to debrief Junko." whereas the Transcript reads, "...I need to debrief Hayami." Not sure "Junko" would be considered an affectionate nickname for an android.
-
"Junko" is a Japanese woman's first name. Perhaps the robot's full name is "Junko Hayami."
-
No, that was an error, which has been fixed. Junko is the name of a Japanese gal I dated briefly, long ago. I changed it to Hayami but somehow left it as "Junko" in that panel.

Was that Junko...err..."debriefed" as well? :)
Just teasing, Scott! Don't shoot! You left yourself open for that one; I couldn't resist. :)
-
I guess it's my turn.
Nicole lost the bracelets on her left wrist between panel 2 and 3 in the 3/7/16 strip. The rest of her outfit is unchanged, so I'm assuming she didn't just will them away.
-
In stripe 1294 (Mar 8th), Elric's right hand is still artificial but in stripe 1295 (Mar 9th) both of his hands are original models. ;)
-
(Strip 1298) Making 'reparations' to return to Zytemonde? To whom, I wonder.
-
Strip 1359, the word balloons in panel 2 make it look like Bok is speaking.
-
Fixed
-
The colors of Nicole's outfit have changed from Friday's strip to Monday's. What was white on her dress is now purple.
-
Well, that's a new one. Usually my colorist is really consistent, and I overlooked the error. It's been fixed now, thanks.
-
On the last frame of 1293, Nicole is still missing the bangles, from her left wrist, that she's wearing both before, (middle frame,) and after, (next page).
-
Strip 1408, panel 2 -- both speech bubbles should be Bok's.
-
Hello,
Registered just to post this. I hope that isn't rude, just trying to help:
http://www.quantumvibe.com/strip?page=1525
Panel 2, the male does not have a plunging neckline as he does in the other panels and in the previous days' strips. Looks like just one line is missing, the part that looks like a collar is usually a choker. I noticed it with the line art, but figured that it would be sorted out in the coloring. Since no one else pointed it out, well, there it is.
Fun comics, thanks for catering to my predispositions.
Cheers

Strip# 1546 March 6, 2017
1. The lettering split the word "not" across two lines.
2. Eithne's speech bubble is set up as if she's speaking aloud. The transcript says it's a thought, which, if I recall correctly, uses a bunch of little bubbles from character to speech bubble to show it is being thought instead of said.
-
Strip #1588. Panel 2.
Eithne's shock collar has gone invisible.
I don't think this one can be chalked up to her anysuit.
-
in http://www.quantumvibe.com/strip?page=1561 the door open/close colors are not implemented.
Panel 2, door color should indicate 'open' per the script notes.
I understand these don't always match up, but we've seen the doors showing their correct open/close colors in a few strips since, and it seems likely that it was intended here also.
-
The butthead has learned to speak a human language. In the first cell, the right-hand speech bubble lacks the indicators for the Glutenoid's speech.
Edit. I see the color version has been corrected relative to the line-art which was posted first.

Our webmaster has been moving the site to a new server. I'm amazed the forum still works. I'm sure Frank will get around to fixing the archives soon.

Oh, the archives work fine. I can go back a page, and substitute numbers in the address bar to find comics. Only the index page, which lists the chapter starts, is blank.
-
Planck scale, with a c. Named after Max Planck.
-
No one else caught it, so...
page=1631.2 Is Murphy saying something that Hugo should have said?
-
The last panel of today's comic, strip 1660, should have both word balloons coming from Nicole, rather than the second one from Ralf.
-
Strip 1656, where does the hydrospanner go between panels 2 and 3?
-
Strip 1697, panel 2, Neckbeard is only hat and hands.
-
Not an errata in the comic per se, but in the Transcript of strip 1709:
Panel 1
Two-shit of Eithne and Giant Theo, showing their relative sizes – Eithne is a bit less than two meters tall; Theo is 10 meters tall.
should be
Panel 1
Two-shot of Eithne and Giant Theo, showing their relative sizes – Eithne is a bit less than two meters tall; Theo is 10 meters tall.
I always read the transcripts as they sometimes reveal information that was either intended for the comic but was left out, is unclear in the comic, or is just new information altogether.
-
1713 - Last panel, there should be another 'o' in the 'to(o)'. The old 'to, too, two' bug bites again. :-)
-
Diana's holographic vidscreen is invisible.
-
:) From the previous 1732...very visible...skinny but still sexy...
-
1795 - 3rd panel, transcript has Diana saying "I'm the one asking questions here", but the speech bubble is pointing at the (apparently) female S&H operative.
-

Sigh. This is the sort of thing that happens when it's late in the evening and I'm rushing to get the strip finalized. Fixed now.
-
I assumed it was intentional and she was saying it, with her partner overstepping his authority. I expected the next strip would have her scolding him for assaulting a client.
-
That was my first impression as well - that the woman was in charge and the guy was going 'above his pay grade', but the transcript referred to Diana.
